back at last!!!

well, here I am. back at last!!! where have you been you might ask? here, there and everywhere but nowhere with an internet connection. how quickly we have become used to having immediate access to the world, television that was once our only visual access to the world has almost become obsolete as computers and mobile phones take over. we corresponde on computers, we store information, we watch films, play and compose music, everything that ever had an individual electronic device can now be done on one fantastic machine - the computer.

wow! isn't flikr an amazing tool. love the way you can explore the view of the world of so many other people and add your own comments too. have to wait til tomorrow to find out what else it can do.

finally here!!!!!

well, i'm finally here!!! took me a little while, not for lack of interest but lack of time. so... what does life long learning mean to me? i think most of us learn every day of our lives. some people might resist it but every time we read or use the internet or talk to some one we are learning. it may not always be a new skill, we may not see the value of it immediately or have something tangible that we can put into practise or hold in our hand but we're still learning. i love learning. i love trying new things, having new experiences. my proiblem is i flit from one thing to another, never quite perfecting what i have started. maybe learning 2.0 will help me get over this.
